Verano 8 Housing - Graduate Student Housing

About this Project

The purpose of Verano 8 is to address the need for affordable housing, satisfy graduate student housing guarantees, and secure UCI’s ability to provide services and residences to its growing graduate student population.

The project consists of five residential towers, a community center to serve the entire Verano community, an 824-stall parking structure and a maintenance and operations hub. The residential towers range from 5-7 floors and consists of a mix of studio, 2-bedroom, and 4-bedroom units for a total of 1,055 beds.

What's Included

• (5) 7-story housing buildings with 1,055 beds within a mix of studio, 2 bedroom and 4 bedroom units
• Community building housing a wellness room, a game room, several music practice rooms, a reservable activity room, a large multi-purpose room, and a mixture of small and large study rooms
• Parking structure with 854 stalls
• Housing maintenance and operations facility
• Project totaling 488,160 s.f.
