Projects managed by DCS are undertaken in direct support of academic program priorities. Although most projects evolve from master planning efforts that reflect a multi-year vision, capital projects are affected by the availability of funding, development opportunities, and changing needs. As a result, the level of planning and construction activity varies over time and DCS staffing, budget, structure, functions, and focus are regularly adjusted in response to such circumstances.
New opportunities to bid on construction contracts and provide construction-related professional services are posted to the Design & Construction Services bid board.
The university does not maintain a contractor database. Opportunities to prequalify to bid on construction projects are posted on the Design & Construction Services bid board. Professional services firms (e.g., architects, engineers, etc.) may respond to the university’s annual announcement to be added to our consultant database. Refer to the bid board for details.
